About

BARRY MCKINLEY has written for the stage, page, radio and film. He has an MA in screenwriting and his plays have been performed in Dublin, London, New York and Edinburgh.

His work has seen nominations for Best New Play in the Irish Theatre Awards, and the shortlist for the Hennessy Literary Award. He was a prizewinner in the OZ Whitehead Competition and the Bath International Short Story Competition—his entry in the latter earned him a place on the English syllabus in the Kenyan educational system.

He lives in Ireland
